Following up on the Gay Project (Cork’s) Proud AF campaign to raise awareness of sexual racism in the MSM communities, I am doing some very early stage R+D to explore concepts for work that invites into celebration the vocal sounds that people who experience sexual racism in queer communities might want to explore, make, and radiate. The goal is to imagine how best we might amplify the space taken up by the aesthetic sophistication of their often-othered voices.
