Art can yoke together facts, feelings, opinions, perspectives, sensations, perceptions, expressions, material and people that usually have little to do with one another.
Artistic thinking and artistic experiments navigate these intricate webworks of seemingly unrelated ideas, beings, moments, and creative impulses.
Through doing this, artists can ‘constructively disrupt’: they can come up with ideas and ways of doing things that are so far outside the box that they reframe both the problems and their solutions.
My work aims to invite, motivate, and lead from this kind of artistic leadership, and also repurpose embodied empathy for better communication.
